living a simpler life...

i feel as though many of us would love nothing more than to edit what we have and live a more peaceful life.... there are days when i would like to sell it all and move to a small town near the beach... i did escape to a lovely place and thought about it... (for now)...

happy summer.... xx

I am getting ready to do just that. But at 67 and 79 my husband and I have to downsize. We already have a big house cloe to the beach but it is always filled with guests. They wear us out now. xo Jenny

Hi Pam,
Sorry that I haven't been around much ...... am getting used to my shiny new MacBook Pro as my old laptop gave up on me. Also, I don't think that I've moved from my sofa since the Olympic Opening Ceremony !!!! I am loving every minute of the Olympics.
Hope that you are enjoying a lovely summer. Much love. XXXX

So glad you were able to have a such a peaceful and lovely escape. I think about the same think all the time...my dream escape is only a ferry ride across the sound to live in my little cottage (over looking the sound of course) on one of the S.J. Islands...heaven!

Love to see you soon...wanna come over when I get back from Cal. in a few weeks?
xoxo J~

I have done exactly that...a move from the suburbs to hinterland/coast to a dream home... I pinch myself everyday to make sure I'm not dreaming...
lovely blog.

My husband and I own a house in the city and we often talk about selling it and moving closer to the beach in a smaller town. We could build our little beach house exactly the way we dreamed it should be.

Oh Pam, the simple life is has so much going for it doesn't it? In the times we live, I think simple is so much harder to achieve. I'd have to have simple with my iPhone and IMac!!

Thinking of you x
