i recently had it completely rebuilt and upholstered in my favorite vintage linen sheets.

This must hurt having to part with this divine sofa. I love how you asked your upholsterer to sign the piece. I have a special printer in Paris and I ask him to sign special prints. Carla

Dearest Pam,

What a joy it is to see you! I recall "bumping into you" once or twice, but you really have such a style and flair that I LOVE!!! I thank you so much for coming over to visit. I love your couch! I am getting a new but very lovely and WHITE LINEN French settee made my Ethan Allen. The style is called YVETTE. I am super excited because it will finish off my all white and light gray studio. VERY LOVELY BLOG HERE! Do come again....Anita

I have initials monogrammed on a corner of my sofa too!! It's actually my two friend's (who moved the sofa for me, got it caught in the door hook, and tore it) initials with the date. It's a patch to cover the hole, but now it's a sweet sentiment of my moving day from east coast to west. x
