LOVE your blog, but to be honest, you had me with the name and the blog image - ticking stripes are on my all time favourites list - well done - I'll be signing up and going directly to your shop! x

fall inspiration...fireplaces!

but those chairs would be oh so lovely around the fireplace. a good book, a cup of tea, and my dog at my feet.

I have done a few post on this very subject. I decided it is more of an internal yearning than the actual weather and mine starts with heartier meals and the bring out of more candles. You can go to my blog and see a few post on my fall inspiration list

Love the texture and patina in these wonderful leather chairs, it looks like a perfect jumping off point to me!!! Kathysue

I also love the leather chairs, I am looking forward to wearing black turtle necks.............they always look good. I also look forward to putting the garden to bed........and then being able to quilt by the fire in the evening...............Fall can bring a lot of romantic nights. HUGS MARY

Nothing like a worn leather chair to say "bring on fall." Love these!!

Those chairs are fab - would love a pair of them! I'm looking forward to everything about fall: leaves changing colour, fall fashion and an earlier sunset (am I weird?).

Our weather actually begins my fall transition...that bit of crispness in the air and the gorgeous skies that we get to enjoy here in the PNW, the light changes and everything has such a glow...which I'd like to look at out my windows while sitting in those fabulous chairs!

Stacey and Clinton say you can wear white all year round and if it weren't for how muddy we get around here...I probably would! Maybe you'll be able to make it till November (one can dream)! ;)

PS- and I switch from choclate pop-tarts to cinnamon, very fallish)!

Love these chairs Pam...
Well we are heading into spring.. and I cannot wait...
Actually we don't do 'fall' too well in Sydney... it's just bleak at that time of year... maybe that is why we just call it autumn....

Enjoy the rest of your summer.. I know it is hard to let go.. xxx Julie

Mmmm those chairs are yummilicious. Leather, velvet, tapestry, boots, sweaters, skeletal leaves and golden grasses... mmmm Fall, bring it on!

Great leather chairs! I cannot wait for Fall to arrive also, but with the short Summer we've had, I'm wearing my shorts and white pieces as often as possible, too! (I finally found the perfect white skinnies)

I like to bring out a few of my favorite blankets and pillows, scarves and sweaters to start off my Fall -- cozy and perfect.

hope you're having a great weekend,
xoxo

The chairs are gorgeous. I am rather ready for fall. The 90 degree weather is becoming a bit much.
