God bless john and his family (only 48 years old)

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this news. Thoughts and blessings to all. I'm thankful for you, dear friend! Sending love. XO
Many people close to have such pain to deal with. You are so right Pam, reaching out means the world when you are in pain and mourning. I always disliked when peoples excuse for not was that they didn't know what to say? I don't think you have to say much, other than you care.
I'll pray for them all.
thank you for the reminder, pam. thinking of you and yours, donna
It's very hard to find words that are adequate when you read a post like this.
You and your loved ones will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Wow this is very sad. I am so sorry, you are so right, we all have to give thanks for the blessings we DO have. I am thankful for the days that are happy and healthy and instead of waiting for the other shoe to drop or stressing or worrying about this or that, I am really truly trying to enjoy the moment while it is there for the taking.
It is equally important for us to keep those in need in our prayers and to pray that they too be will be able to lead lives of joy, good health and happiness. Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
Such sad new, Pam. We really do have so much to be thankful for, especially if we are healthy.
happy Thanksgiving to you.
I am so sorry to hear your news. I feel as you do, there is not a day that i do not speak to my parents in France, tell my sons how much i love them and be close to my friends. To morrow i am going to my best friend's father funeral. It is going to be a very painful day, and then off to france again (I was there only last week) to be with my mom who needs yet another surgery. This is the season to really reach out and shore our love and bring a little happiness around us
Oh Pam, I'm truly sorry...I know this has been a painful year, but God is obviously at work in your heart as it is reaching out, full of thankfulness, and still so giving...you have such a beautiful spririt.
Sending lots of love your way...and very big hugs!!
Sending warm thoughts of strength to you. I agree that it is so important to appreciate all of the amazing people that we have in our lives--and I include those that our virtual friends too. The comments of support that you have here say much of how you are cared for.
It is times like these when we are forced to realize that it is the time we have to spend with loved ones that is important, not all the comings and goings of the season, but the time. It is the one thing we cannot create more of or purchase!
I am very sorry to hear of such sadness. The good thing that can come out of all of this is the ability to recognize the blessings that we do have. I know that it's difficult to do, but it's also where we can draw strength from. Life is beautiful, and difficult, but so very precious.
Pam, I am so sorry to hear of your losses. It does remind us of what is important, doesn't it. Are you back from your travels? I would love to meet up with you next week sometime. xo ebh

There does seem to be such sadness around us...definitely time to have joy in our hearts as we spend time with our families.
Glad you stopped by my blog. Let me know when you are ready to open Red Ticking east coast...I am so ready. You are living my dream!
I hope to visit your beautiful shop soon. I live in Tacoma.
A couple days ago, I placed "Red Ticking" on my favorite list.
Yesterday, I saw your sweet light for Phillip. Today...more lights... to shine on and on.
My thoughts are with you and the others near you that are so sad right now!
Pam your beautiful words echo across the great divide. So much sadness, but also great love.
Great message and reminder.
Blessings and light to you and yours, this Thanksgiving.
Giving thanks is so important. So crucial to reach out and to give comfort and joy...all year. Many are suffering, in pain, and each and every day is a gift.
This year I will miss my friend who delivered her home made cranberry chutney to me each year on Thanksgiving morning.
She valiantly battled cancer for 6 years.
I miss her every day.
so sad Pam. I will be thinking of your friends & send happy & positive thoughts & vibes from Australia x
This is a beautiful but sad post... I am sorry for your losses. Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving and wonderful memories of your loved ones to sustain you.
