leaving home can be one of the hardest things i do...
the preparation to leave seems almost unbearable.
but when you get on the plane... it all goes away...
for you know...
that you will be someone place wonderful soon...
and it is all worth it.

I am the same way...hard to get me out the door, afraid I'll miss some little detail but once I do get on my way, I forget all about home and love it. Enjoy your trip!!
One thing I have done is keep a journal of what I wished I had packed to serve as a reminder of what I should have at the ready, hat, sunscreen, flip flops and an eazy cover-up that can double as a robe.
A book, always, a note pad and a scarf for chilly evenings. Bug spray too. Enjoy your leave!
