i love to eat the berries... by themselves, bake them in a pie...
but my favorite is old fashioned strawberry short cake..
my grams made this for us so often and whenever i see
a strawberry... i think of her.
one of the most wonderful women in the world...
love you dear grams.. forever and ever...
i miss you everyday...
so i will plant many of these and every time i pick one..
you will be right there with me... xoxo

Darling. We have to eat strawberries together this summer, friend. Lots and lots of them! My Grandma Rosie was famous for her strawberry rubarb pie & jam!! XO

I have a few flowers in my garden that remind me of my grandmother. Strawberries sound like a perfect memory for a grandmother.
