think spring...

today is another dreary day in seattle but once you get used to it.... you just learn to deal with it.
i never appreciated the sun as much as i do after living in seattle 15 years.
so since we will not likely see the sun today... i thought i would share
one of my favorite images with you... it reminds me that spring will be here... very soon.
have a wonderful day...xx

my apologies... i do not know the source. if you do, i would love to know so i may credit...

Promise Spring is almost here? Because after 28 years I'm thinking I can't take it anymore ;)

I love the color, especially the carpet!

Such a cheery and happy room...it would feel like spring everyday there.
We should have at least had some 'teaser' days by now...spring and summer will be so appreciated this year, we should throw them a party when they arrive!

(sun just now peeking through the clouds...oops, now it's gone...now it's back...nope, it's gone...looks like there's some teasing going on after all!)

The room reminds me of London decorator Nicholas "Nicky" Haslam. Sorry I cannot say for sure. __ The Devoted Classicist

i've always wanted to go there
and in my current post it is one
of the things that i listed...
i don't know if it has to do with
the movie sleepless in Seattle,
but i always tell my kids...

Pam, wouldn't it be wonderful to slip into that room, plop yourself down and just enjoy the light and what I expect is a perfect view. Even if it is not, I would be happy to sit in that room. I hear you on those grey skies...we have a lot of the same here. When the sun comes it is the best feeling!

Jeanne xx

PS...thanks for your comment, lovely to hear from you!

Love the colors - they do say spring. I guess if we can't have spring outside, we'll just have to create a little inside.

I love winter sports, snowboarding, sledding with my children and making snowmen to elicit smiles from my little ones, but after a long winterland I'm ready for spring and summer. The image is great...the the ceiling, love the orange carpet and the light pink feels refreshing. Enjoy your weekend.
