mohair mascot

a cute story for you all...

my friend has a very lovely home.
being in seattle, living near the water, we do have rat problems.
they had one... a big one and nothing could get rid of them.

so one day my friend went to the animal rescue to get herself a cat who
would prowl around and scare them all away.

as she searched and searched she noticed they were all lazy and thought
they are not going to be any help..
so she walked away...

she then went to where the dogs were (already has rescued several) and
when she saw this guy... it was all over.
he was shaking, scared and in dire need of love...

fred now lives in the big beautiful house filled with love.
and hopefully, keeping
all the rats away...
the end.

****

dear fred, you are one of the most loved dogs in the world. you are one of few who can lounge on a very expensive mohair blanket and now call it your blankie....

xx love auntie pam

Fred is so stinkin' cute. " IF" I had a mohair blankie I don't think I could say "no" to him either.

Went to Cantinetta the other night with the hubby for date night. Thanks for the recommendation, love that place!

Hope to see your pretty smile soon!

Fred is a very fashionable shade of taupe and cream that goes beautifully with the blankie - delightful. How could anyone resists that look?!

We have a mouse problem and more than enough cats. Happy to say I have not seen any rats around. But if I did, would that give me an excuse to find a friend like Fred??? What makes your story even better for me is that Fred probably was not the most appealing dog at the shelter. (Shaking and nervous) I love it when someone can see the potential in a dog who needs that extra chance.

He is so so so so cute. Oh, I forgot. My son told me that I am getting too old to use so soooooo many times. Anyway, Fred is a doll!

Oh...what a darling story. I thought you were going to say the rats ate the blanket, but the story has a much better ending.
Hope all is well with you.

He's a sweetheart! And he looks like my "Alice". She came to me at 7 weeks old and at 5 years old now she wakes me just seconds before my alarm every morning!

Sounds like a woman after my own heart! So great to hear that the scrumptious Fred has such a wonderful new home - if only all of them were so lucky. And I completely understand about the blankie - dogs need nice things too! K xx
