What a wonderful image Pam. I don't think that they will be running out of firewood for a while !!!!
We are FREEZING over here in the UK.....really low temperatures, snow, frost everything. Not to worry though....it looks SO pretty. XXXX

That is a gorgeous fireplace!! I live in Southern California and although it's been cool in the mornings and evenings - the days have been pretty good the last few days!! Stay warm! xxoo :)

Neat room...I wonder if they actually use that wood. The fireplace looks pretty pristine. Great design though! : )

Hi!
Yes, fortunately (or how is that word spelled... ;) ) we have a fireplace, and we use it every day now. It´s freezing cold here in Stockholm, Sweden. But I love it!!

Must thank you so much for the nice words you left on my blog :D

You also wondered about my crochet, I made that one to fit an empty corn-jar. I don´t have plenty of those, but I could crochet something like that for you if you are interested. Just tell me :)

xx Anna

I so agree, stacked wood brings on such cozy feelings. Hope that you're staying warm with all the snow! We've had quite a bit here and there's more to come! I'd be more excited about its tranquil beauty if it was up the road a few miles and not at our doorstep. It's just a wee bit too early for me!

Hi Pam,...I like firewood in pictures... but I don't like to bring it in the house 'cause I'm afraid of spiders...maybe some day I will get past this issue...pretty image though... maureen

I'm so missing a fireplace this season! We had one in the little island cottage we were living in last winter, and I really miss it. I love the one in this photo, although I wouldn't want to be the one who had to stack all that wood! :) Hope you're having a wonderful holiday season! xoxo Gigi

My darling son loaded up the wood last night and this morning, my dear husband made me a fire. It is freeezing here, and the fire feels so nice.

I love wood piles an unusual amount, considering I don't have a fireplace.

Great image!
