that's too funny...you won't beleive this one...my mom and i went to a book signing years ago for Julia Child. we stood in line FOREVER.my mom kept saying, "kary, are you sure this is worth it?"
well, we stuck with it and when we finally rounded the bend and i saw her....i started crying too...my mom was saying "kary, what is wrong now?" i said, "there she is..it's really her . it's JULIA"
i was over the moon. i was shaking..i could hardly speak. i will never forget it. she looked up, smiled, asked me my name and signed the book. i went to the car and collapsed. my beloved julia !!!
