like most of you... i am a ralph lauren fan.
i have always been a tried and true follower and as i grew up, i always saved my money and purchased a piece or two when i could.
i was so fortunate to meet him a few years ago. he was so nice and personable... and handsome. everyone stood at attention when he entered his east hampton store... i dont know why i didnt faint... but God gave me complete courage to talk to him. (i wanted to faint later realizing what i just did!) he just commands respect. and deserves it.
i am working on a really fun island house project right now... and this inspiration board is from a couple years ago... but yet, still looks as current as ever.. good ol ralph... inspiring and timeless.

Your inspiration board is filled with Hither Hills collection..I have some of that myself.. which I was lucky enough to get at a good price...and still love it .. and the new La Plage range.... The beach house will be beautiful for sure... have a great week xx Julie
I dont always like RL...I thinks he's sometimes over the top....I prefer GANT much better...

I can't wait to see it! We inherited 2 greyish blue ticking striped couches for our beach house so Im thinking of a budget redo with a white/blue Ralph look. Looking forward to being inspired by your project, like I always am!
Love love love RL he is an icon. His designs are always timeless. I so agree with you!! Can not go wrong with RL. My favorite is how he can mix a feminine floral with a great masculine plaid, love that look!!

Love this post. I think the collection was called Hither Hills, and I downloaded it in its entirety when it first launched. Every aspect is perfection. And the best part is the vintage pieces he reproduced are readily available and (my view, here) easily pulled together -- for even more spectacular results.
those espadrilles would fit right in to your RL project. The best news: they are from Forever 21 and were under $10.00!!!

American classic, isn't he? How awesome that you got to meet him! My china pattern is Ralph Lauren and I love it. Simple elegance, just like everything he does.
Ralph Lauren fan here too. I own 4 navy blazers by him alone. One is vintage by now. Not to mention every thing else by Ralph in the house
