as i grow older...
i know i could live right here.

You know, I could too - and be perfectly content and happy. I don't need or want much lately and would love to have a quirky unique place to call my own. :)
Have a wonderful day ~

I always think that too. Although I am a grown up. I look at my counters and sink and think...these are too short for grown ups.

Beautiful house. Love the peeling paint. It never looks as good in my house ;)

Totally agree. I am craving a tiny cottage. I am not sure that it would work with 7 kids.

Love this kitchen! I believe it was featured in House Beautiful along with the rest of the cottage...living room, and darling bathroom! I have the issue somewhere. In Nantucket I believe.

I had exactly the same feeling. That's one of the reasons why we have an allotment now, with a little garden house on it ;-)! The kitchen on the picture looks lovely! There is so much to see!

Happy friday!

Lieve groet, Madelief

Very 'walk-in-able' which is to say one can imagine oneself just walking in and living here quite happily.

Lovely image.

Hi Pam
Well i totally agree. I think my number one dream is to live in a cottage by the sea... just something comfortable and relaxing....still dreaming.. hopefully one day...

I love the relaxed atmosphere of this room and the blue floors have got my number .. actually all the rooms in this cottage are just as sweet.. .. sometimes a little twee but great atmosphere for a weekender.. it reminds me of weekends away as a teenager...

the article is from House Beautiful ... A Fisherman's Cottage in Nantucket... one of my favourites ... I can see why you like it too.. have a great weekend... xx [Friday here already] xx Julie.

The bare ceilings are as fab as the floor. Heck the entire room is pretty neat.

and me. Add me and we would unearth some sort of hidden cabinet with tons of money. It looks like that sort of place with things like that. Too good to be true- and I think it has a view of the ocean by the beach.

I craved that space in HB, still have it hanging in my studio. It is everything I could imagine a perfect getaway to be.
