This is my first visit to your blog and I had to write to say this picture literally made me gasp. I live in Florida where there are lots of tropical flowers, but delicate blooms like these are few and far between.

Hi, thanks for dropping by my blog! My garden isn't as amazing as it looks in pictures, there are piles or weeds, old bits of junk, slabs of concrete - I just block all of those out! Re roses, I was just outside photographing another which I will post in a day or so - maybe you'll drop by again :)
I love the pic in your post, they're peonies aren't they? Beautiful!

Lovely this promise of beauty to come. When I see pictures like this, I always think how boring life would be without changes of season. If we had lovely flowers like these all year round, we'd grow indifferent.
Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Oh I am so envious! What a fabulous thing to wait for!

Australia is sinking deeper into Autumn now and though sad to leave the warmer months behind, I look forward to hibernate now.
A Swedish thing for sure.. :)

The peony is one of the oldest blossoms- sure to soften any space and add romance to every heart. Lovely image.

I can smell them all the way down here in Lexington! You must share your secret to a bountiful season. I seem to always kill them.
Thanks so much for stopping by TLPC to say hello. We will visit more this summer I am sure.
Have a lovely weekend. XO

Oh, to have peonies already. Your so lucky!! We have to be a bit more patient in Holland. I only have 'red stems' in my garden right now.

Looking forward to see your bouquet!

Lieve groet, Madelief

This picture is probably one of the prettiest I've ever seen...trying to figure out how to have a peony farm now.

Thank you...my eyes are very happy!

Beautiful! I have peonies in my garden but nothing like this! I live in upstate New York and mine don't bloom until the middle of June...The first one blooms on my daughters birthday every year and we have taken her picture by the peonies every year on her birthday. She will be 20 this June! Love your blog!
