working from home.

on occasion, i get to work from home. i get to write my own hall pass...
(we all need to do this at times right?)

it just feels better to wake up, make coffee and putter about making calls and sending mail ... although i love my kitchen... i wouldn't mind trading for this one...

i love the fireplace and desk... i have a few pieces in the store that can be used as a home desk... just in case you want to play hooky...

I work from home all the time as this is where my studio is and I love it. It is so much easier especially with children and doing household jobs... you can just whip downstairs and put another load of washing on.(Not that I love doing that but at least it gets done and I can keep working on what I really want to be doing!) I love this desk and setting ... how gorgeous to work next to a fireplace! So beautiful... I am going to google your shop and see if I can find it! Have a lovely Easter.

There is something so welcoming about having a fireplace in the kitchen. I would love that. :)

Oh Pam how I covet that steel and wood French table. How great would it be to have that place in front of that lovely fireplace? Your items on 1stdibs are incredible. Your taste is impeccable my friend.

Wishing you a sunny fun Easter weekend. xx

I used to be a consultant working only from home and loved it. It can take discipline, however be very freeing and creativity can really flow!

oh it's quite lovely! ANd I love the ability to toss a load of laundry in- particularly after being out of town for a while. Double productive!

Pretty room!
I work at home every day. Convenient, yes, but lately it's feeling a little claustrophobic. Maybe it's just spring fever but I need to get out more! So I can come back home and appreciate how lucky I am.

The fireplace is amazing...it would be wonderful to have that coziness going on while doing anything in the kitchen.

I work from home in the mornings and love the whole wake up, coffee, putter thing...great way to start the day. I feel so fortunate and a bit spoiled sometimes.
