Absolutely a LOVELY fantasy! Albeit one that would require a TON of work....or perhaps a HEAD GARDNER? THAT would be the ultimate fantasy, for me! I'D do the harvesting and the HG would keep the whole thing in shape : ) xx P&H
I would love to toil in the soil in the sun all day there! A church at the end of my street did a co-op garden last year... had raised beds in the parking lot..looked alot like your image, but without the beautiful stone wall..it was so nice to see all the people picking herbs, and veggies throughout the summer after mass to take home and enjoy!
What a wonderful garden -- I'd love to see it in a month or so. Thank you for the inspiration to tend to my little potager! Thank you for your visits to Splendid Market.
You and I dream in the same "grandness!" A fellow blogger tagged me yesterday to re-post my sixth photo from this blog. I did and listed you as one of the six blogs I'd like to see re-post yours. It's a fun way to see what you were up to then.
So this is my favorite post since Miss Mae! This is my dream...I don't have the land for it but what a feeling to get up in the early morning and know that this is there waiting for you. Maybe someday.
I have a friend who has a garden like this--she is English and every bit of her home and grounds look ready for Elle Decor (her home has been in Elle Decor) But she Slaves in that garden! I'm happy to be the recipient of her delicious veggies--give me a garden pot or two of tomatoes and fresh herbs and I'm a happy girl! (But I DO hope YOU get that garden!)
One of my friends has a lovely garden area, not quite this lovely, but close. We all look forward to the armloads of fresh tomatoes, peppers, herbs that she gives away freely. I wish I had one too.

It would most certainly be grand! I think I'd never come indoors if it were mine. I'd so much rather work in the garden than keep the house up.
This is what I love as well! Although I do not have the beautiful old wall, I think I am on my way....!
Enjoy your day!
Lieve groet, Madelief

Can I be your gardner? I love gravel paths, but hate weed block and weed killers. Currently looking for an alternative.
I would like to enjoy it AFTER someone else has planted the most beautiful flowers that I could cut frequently for my home!
