as i might have mentioned, (a time or two) i do like my celebrity sitings... and this one was pretty cool.
while in la, i was dining at a cool restaurant and after dinner went to the ladies room. i went down a long dark hallway and waited... and waited. after about 10 minutes i was pretty frustrated (1 person at a time) and almost gave up. they had a huge restroom upstairs but i did not feel like going all the way up.. so i waited and .....

along comes a big guy with the headset and all.. behind him... a small boy...after him VICTORIA...
and then....

he looked me in the eye, smiled and said hello.
wow... i must say... something i will not forget anytime soon.

but i dont mind... i love turning misfits into treasures that one might find rare and interesting...

this chair (one of a pair) are wonderful but need alot of work...

a shining light...

i received a phone call from andy newcom today...
he is the owner of the kitchen i posted a couple days ago.
it is such a small world and truly a special one at that... he is as charming and wonderful as his home.. and the fact that he shared in the home renovating adventure with his darling parents, is even better.

he shared he had been in my store red ticking and had purchased items for his home.
he was visiting from kansas city... in seattle on business...
i was not there the day he came in so we never met.

april 1st... aaahhhh....

for most of us, this is great news although i realize my friends back east are still snow bound
and for that i am so truly sorry...

well it is pouring rain here in seattle... but when i look at this little table... i know that springtime is
here and we will all be outdoors with our lillet cocktails and laughing very soon...
