heavenly marathon

i woke up, (back not doing well i tweaked it yesterday) so i knew it would be a low key day.
hit ch 35 (food network) and to my sweet surprise... it is a barefoot contessa marathon day!
(God is so good).

of course ina always inspires me to get out and hit the farmers markets, buy poultry, filets, bake cakes and make chicken salad but i need to stay tucked in and heal... so, i was able to find all of the ingredients to make one of my favorite things in the world... as my friend calls them..
"the evil sticky buns" ...
if you have not tried these... you MUST. you will lose you mind.

happy sunday... xx

I think we all need to be careful...I actually almost had a tweak scare last week! It was a good reminder to watch myself...I'm not the female version of the hulk.

Today is wonderful if you've gotten to cozy up and watch Ina all day and make sticky buns! ;)I've been frozen...BUT, I got to turn on the fake wood burning stove...that's always wonderful! I do see blue skies and puffy white clouds to the west though and I belive they are headed this way! :)

You should have seen me today with a pick axe. I have farmer's hands. I adore homemade sticky buns. You are evil to remind me how much! When I am unable to move tomorrow I will be tempted to follow your lead! XO Trish

I will not even peek at that link. Your picture looks too good.

I routinely jack up my back either at work or in the garden. Last summer i gave my self tendonitis with my almost OCD weeding.

It's difficult to accept one's weaknesses. Good on you for taking it easy today.

Hope you get relief soon.

Happy Sunday night - I'm following!!! So glad you've been over to visit. I adore Ina and I'm kind of sad that I missed the marathon day. Is there anything more soothing that her music? And the food...well, there isn't anything she makes that I don't love.

Hope your back is better!!xo

thanks for stopping by...I also grew up eating Salmon "patties"......they didn't taste anything like the ones that I featured from Southern Living.

(no offense to my mom!) :)

I'm now a happy follower~

They look soooo good! Sticky buns have been a long time favorite of mine since I was a child. The last time I made them, I used my Mother -in -law's recipe (which is great) and caught the stove on fire. They had to be removed mid-baking while we cleaned up the stove but miraculously, they still turned out!!! Sticky buns are the BEST!!! xoTrina
