one of which is sue balmforth.... the owner of bountiful home.
sue is one in a million.
she is one of the most talented women i have ever known and her mind never stops.
she creates incredible interiors for celebrities everywhere...
her store is always a breathe of fresh aire...
we sat with her in her charming bungalow and talked for hours... it was a magical time..

Hi, sounds like you had a great time in Venice. I've not been to USA yet :)
Thanks for dropping by my blog, the rose in my pictue is a Guillot rose called Florence Delattre. It can look a litle mauve/grey at times but is lovely. I had read tat it is a poor 'doer' but mine has done very well.
Have a lovely weekend :)
I am SO jealous...I adore Bountiful Home and have posted her gorgeous work many times. You lucky girl you!
Happy Friday.
Oh, how fortunate were you!?!
I was able to have a Bountiful experience a few years ago and my jaw was dropped the whole time I was there. All I left with was one of their vintage postcards that they were handing out...did youget anything fun?
How great that you got to spend time with Sue like that!
Sue is the BEST! Your title is so true to whom she is... she IS sue! There is no one like her in the world and her magic is a forever sparkle!
Great post and I am glad you loved Venice and had fun!!! Bountiful is a the real Wonderland and Sue is the real Alice~~

Venice and Sue must have been a great experience. It sounds as if she is someone that you have wanted to meet for a long while.
I hope that you picked her brains and gained valuable inspiration !! XXXX
Ohh, a new place to put on my list! It looks wonderful. Sounds like a great day! Thank you for the tip. Have a good weekend!

Oh lucky you, sounds like the best time. It's great being around creative people, so special.
re comment, thank you so much, I'm happy you like it and that was so interesting about the band.
I will try and add some more to my playlist.
Have a great day,

I have images of Sue's home/store and via Rachel Ashwell that I've had for years...her talent is amazing. You crazy, lucky girls!
Glad you shared your fun with us.
Sounds like fun....I love Venice...only been once a few years ago. Have a great weekend. xo
Sadly, I've only visited Bountiful virtually...it looks like heaven! Merci for the glimpse at the brains behind the operation! Trish
I visited Bountiful the last time I was in LA for work (probably 8 years ago) and came away with crazy amounts of ticking in the most beautiful colors that I still have -- she had cupboard after cupboard filled with it! Still remember the sushi @ Chaya...
Sue's store is beyond compare. It's heavenly, isn't it? I could move right in and NEVER leave again.
oh my goodness, i know Sue too! we bought all of the antiques in my store from Bountiful. i was just talking about her with another friend of mine today at lunch...about what an amazing business woman she is.
come visit Faire Frou Frou in Studio City to see some of her antiques at my shop. ;-)
xoxo alison
