sue.

venice california has such a cool vibe...
everyone is out and about... dressed casual but so chic...
we had the most wonderful coffee, homemade pastries and met with the most wonderful people..
one of which is sue balmforth.... the owner of bountiful home.
sue is one in a million.
she is one of the most talented women i have ever known and her mind never stops.
she creates incredible interiors for celebrities everywhere...
her store is always a breathe of fresh aire...
we sat with her in her charming bungalow and talked for hours... it was a magical time..
thank you sue... you are amazing...

Hi, sounds like you had a great time in Venice. I've not been to USA yet :)
Thanks for dropping by my blog, the rose in my pictue is a Guillot rose called Florence Delattre. It can look a litle mauve/grey at times but is lovely. I had read tat it is a poor 'doer' but mine has done very well.
Have a lovely weekend :)

Oh, how fortunate were you!?!
I was able to have a Bountiful experience a few years ago and my jaw was dropped the whole time I was there. All I left with was one of their vintage postcards that they were handing out...did youget anything fun?
How great that you got to spend time with Sue like that!

Sadly, I've only visited Bountiful virtually...it looks like heaven! Merci for the glimpse at the brains behind the operation! Trish

I visited Bountiful the last time I was in LA for work (probably 8 years ago) and came away with crazy amounts of ticking in the most beautiful colors that I still have -- she had cupboard after cupboard filled with it! Still remember the sushi @ Chaya...

Sue's store is beyond compare. It's heavenly, isn't it? I could move right in and NEVER leave again.
