wingbacks


it seems as though alot of these are floating around in homes everywhere... some are old, some are new... here is a very refreshing way to make them special....

It reminds me of the ones that are in the hotel in Capetown that Joni wrote about in Cote de Texas.
It also featured the gorgeous hand painted script on the silk curtains by African Sketchbook. If you haven't seen it, be sure and go check it out!

You show the BEST things. I love wing back chairs but to be covered in grain sack material is gorgeous. Did you see my one that I covered? I've also had my Victorian rocking chair covered in the same material. Wonderful. XXXX

so funny! I was thinking of you yesterday at the NY gift show when I saw the same chair and a beautiful sofa covered in vintage feed bags--they were gorgeous and reminded me of your french linen. The company that produced them was in Kentucky--I have their card somewhere-great post!
