resting.

i dont know what it is lately but i am very into resting well. life is so crazy busy, work is insane (but i am so grateful) and when i walk thru the front door... the work clothes come off, sweats on and i breathe a sigh of relief that i am home....

so i want to know, when you come home from your day.. what is your routine? what do you do to relax?

and btw... isnt this one cool daybed?

have a great day!

Have to admit not much of a "relaxer" but do love to, and need to, go for a run and then jump into the pool. Yes the plunge part is a LITTLE nippy these days but still a part of what makes me able to function. Yes nice sofa, Are the legs wooden? Daniel

Oh yes I love this daybed!
Normally when I come home from work in wintertime, I go to sit for 15 min in my orangerie and go through my mail while having a cup of coffee and in summertime I love to sit in a chair on my terrace enjoying nature around!

That is a seriously cool daybed!
When I am exhausted, I put on my kaftan and ease down on a chaise with a good book and a cookie!

My first visit....I'm going to like visiting you!

My day is spent at home, but it's soft throws, a delicious cup of tea, and thick warm socks at this time of year. Oh, and candles...day and night.

I come home, put on the ol' sweats and comfy socks, have a glass of chardonnay, catch up on emails in my home office... work never ceases... I have a home office AND a regular business office I go to each day .... then..around 8 pm.. I shut down my cell phone and computer and check in with the hubby....fire on... food on.... aahhh.......and YES! that daybed is cool!!!

Hi Pam
Well last year's work schedule was too over the top.... I was only getting home in time to sleep and do it all over again.... So now I am having one great big relax!!!

I admit I like to make a cup of coffee and sit on the balcony with a magazine.. but a walk around the bay would be a better option!! xx Julie

Love the shutters...I get home quite late around 9pm, go straight to my boy and girl(of the 4 legged type) and have a moment of play as they welcome me back home. Then ...close the shutters...and forget about my day, light dinner in the library with my husband, and either watch a movie, take a long bath and read...
In the summer, a pastis, shed my clothes for a bathing suit and swim in the pool....

I do love that daybed...the fabric brings Donghia to mind, which is always a good thing. As for my routine, it seems to be not that different from many of your other readers! Peel off the work clothes, put on some comfy clothes, pour a glass of wine (perhaps two), light a candle, turn on some music, give my little one a puppy massage (sadly I am so not joking, lol), whip up a lil dinner as I love to cook...all while usually working on the computer!

Thanks for the sweet message last week, sorry I have been so late in responding. I have been swamped (gratefully) and all but absent from the "blog world", hopefully I can slip back in this weekend;)

Besos,
Jaime
