springtime in february...

the weather in seattle has been a dream come true... especially this weekend!
i have been in the yard with a team of amazing landscapers who are converting it into what i am hoping to look something like this... i will show you the before and after once the project is complete.. you will never believe it...

so here is to the glorious sunshine and i truly hope you all had an amazing weekend... xx

this photo has been in my files ... i cannot find the source... if anyone knows, i would truly appreciate giving credit... it is one of my favorites.

It has been great weather! I'm wearing sunscreen...strange. Good luck with your yard. I'm wondering when I should plant grass...who knows if we might still get snow! Yep I said it.

Nothing like a hose for some good clean fun and for watering the plants. What a sweet spot.

How lucky you are that spring is coming. We still have two weeks of summer and already the whiff of autumn is appearing in the cool mornings and the heavy dew on the windscreen of the car. I'm not looking forward to winter even though we have had a very hot summer I am loath to wave it goodbye.

You are soo lucky to have spring come so early, if only for a moment. We are still buried under snow here (the lake is frozen solid) but I just heard a bird chirping outside my window and that made me smile! Spring IS coming! Your plan sounds terrific -would love to see photos of the finished work!

What a perfect arbor that will be when it's done. How much fun will this be when it's completed!

Pam:
I know how rare that Seattle sun is in February and so glad you had a change to enjoy! For a wee bit more, pop over and claim the Sunshine I sent you on my blog this morning. I so miss our estate sale-ing and flea marketing, but at least I have your blog...
