I do love this space as well. Ikea, by the way, has a same kind of rugs with black/white stripes.

Dear Pam,
Can't help you with the image but, it looks a bit like one of those companys that use houses for staging etc. Anyway, I love it too. It's so light. My house is late Victorian and so dark !! When I see rooms like this, I want to redecorate everywhere white !! XXXX

i still can't make up my mind about striped rugs.

I cannot wait to meet you one day and trade stories. We both have the same love of Asia. The asian culture has had such an influence in my personal and professional life.

This room is absolutely beautiful. I have a feeling it was in Vogue living? It'll come to me...I remember being astounded by the price of the stools when they were referenced! The rugs are spectacular aren't they? Thanks for sharing this lovely room. You have such an eye for lovliness. Meredy xo

It is so fresh and clean...def IKEA rug. West elm had a graphic one quite similar (maybe with zig zags).

Everything to love, nothing to hate. Such a breathe of fresh air. The massive windows, the ceiling height, the airy feeling = grandeur

Hope you had a marvelous weekend Pam and wishing you a terrific rest of this week. xx deb

The carpet is from IKEA. Nate Berkus' living room featured one at a time.
Great picture!

Pam, hope you got up to Vancouver for some of the Olympics and I'll be in touch soon about the red and white vintage fabric for the windowseat we discussed. Also, love the photo, but respectfully disagree with the Ikea sourcing on the rug. It's a Madeline Weinrib buche wool flatweave, as was the carpet in Nate Berkus' Chicago living room. Ikea does a similar rug, but only Weinrib's 10 x 14 version has five columns of stripes versus Ikea's three.
