Oh I know that feeling....when i get to the sand, i always just stop, close my eyes, take a deep breath and feel my heart beating slower and slower with each step.
I'm so happy that you get to go & hope you enjoy every minute!

Sounds like a perfect way to spend the 4th of July. We celebrate Canada Day on the 1st, which reminds me....I'm in charge of the bbq. Thanks for your post/reminder!

Where in the 'sand' are you going? I LOVE the beach, especially southern Cali beaches, guess I'm partial since I grew up there! Have fun and think of us sweltering in the heat! Wish I was going with you....let's pick up Lisa, it'll be loads of fun!

Have a fabulous time, the beach will be especially powerful this year for all of us who love it so much. I live in Miami but will be in NYC for the 4th, go figure!

Gorgeous picture!
No major plans for the 4th, however many expat Americans brighten up Sydney with their celebrations.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Oh, you are a lucky duck!!
There's just nothing like the beach for relaxation, is there?
Me? I'm off to a sunflower festival.
Happy 4th!

I'd be counting down the days if not seconds too Pam. I'm so happy for you as there is no better place than the sea & sand. Soak it all in for me too, I'll be home bound / :

Cheers my dear x
