i love the rush...

i watched the first episode of man shops globe tonight on sundance and i just love it. i can totally relate to the anxious, thrilling rush that you get when you discover the "perfect" piece. people always ask me "what are you looking for?" "what are you doing next?" the fun part is... i never know... i follow my heart. i love what i do but it is extremely difficult... no one quite understands that ... it is extremely difficult to find the diamonds... amongst the rubble... but i have always been a hunter and will continue to bring the best i can to those who will treasure it as much as i do.

The first image is adorable Pam. We'd call that a 'What Not' Down Under. All beautiful pieces. How lovely to hear your thoughts about your work. So heartfelt & honest.

Hunt on, Pam! You find the most glorious treasures, and I can totally relate to not knowing what you are looking for or what you are doing next - but when it happens, you sure know that it's the 'one!' wooo!
I'd love to have one of everything in these photos. =)

I am painfully aware of how difficult it is to find these things...I have never had the patience/eye to come across even one "find"! I have the utmost respect for your treasure hunting skills. Love those white jug-like containers on the table...

Wasn't that the most brilliant show. I think it will truly be my new obsession. And always a dream is to shop with someone else's money. The table in your photo is gorgeous.
Thank you for stopping by my blog which has been very neglected recently.

You found some gems, alright! When my BFF and I were away on our annual getaway I found this darling journal made out of an old 1942 kids' book. It was the treasure of my trip! So, I understand how thrilling it is to find just that right thing that makes your heart sing. Thanks for visiting me on my blog, and I agree, let's get the Word out!

Love this post. I am the same way - I know it when I see it! People are either wired this way or not. It is fun to read of a kindred spirit. Love your blog!
