* How loving & thoughtful of you to post this...

TWO couples, friends for over 30 years, BOTH lost their homes... we are, as you can imagine, so incredibly heartsick for them... Amazingly enough tho, BOTH couples are taking it better than I think I could...

Losing the IRREPLACEABLE mementos that represent a family's life has to be what hurts the most, of course, but EVERYONE is simply M*O*S*T GRATEFUL that THEY are alll ALIVE and WELL, including the dogs/other family pets!

Blessings,
Linda in AZ *

Its quite terrifying how nature takes control, and your poor people that are having to deal with these awful fires are in all our thoughts. REplacing memories and momentos of lives are impossible, but at least they have survived and not lost their dear ones.. you can rebuild a home, but not replace a person.. thinking of them all, our thoughts are with you at this terrible time.. God Bless, J

All the loss is so sad. My heart goes out to everyone impacted by the fires. Such a beautiful place. Hope peace is restored soon.
On a happier note, lovely to see you yesterday. Looking forward to more this weekend. XO

Gorgeous setting for a beautiful home. I cringe every time I see the news cast for the fires burning. So heartbreaking. Thoughts are with all in Colorado.

That is such a beautiful home in a beautiful part of our country. I hope that terrible disaster calms down very soon so that no one else is impacted!

Part of my heart resides in Colorado.... I miss it like I miss old friends, and houses I have loved- from my soul. I am heart broken at the devastation.
Hope you are well and happy!

Such a beautiful image and so very sad what is happening in Colarado. We have terrible bushfires here in Australia so we feel for those who have lost everything. Thank-you for your post and for visiting me with such sweet words about your friend. Thank-you!
with my best wishes always

The loss is so devastating......its hard to comprehend. Natural disasters happening so much more frequently now...... I pray for all those forced out of their homes, leaving all the possessions behind......at the end of the day though, as long as they have each other they can rebuild and I think its remarkable how many find what they are capable of doing when faced with such daunting situations.........hoping it all ends very soon, and that God will bless all those in its path.
