How beautiful Pam and how lovely for you and your family to get together in such wonderful surroundings to celebrate your dear Uncles life. It must have been a supportive time for you all.
I can't believe that I have missed so many of your posts Pam. I have been rather busy of late but I hope that I'm back on track.
Thinking of you and your family. Your Uncle sounds as if he was a very special man and you all must miss him so much. Much love. XXXX

Hi Pam,

Thank you so much for reading my blog and for your kind, heartfelt comment. I can't tell you how much it means to me. I also have to tell you... my heart skipped a beat when I saw "Red Ticking" I thought no... it can't be... but it is in fact "the" Red Ticking. :) I was just sitting yesterday reading (for the 100th time) the Cottage Living article that features your home... it is my favorite of all my old CL magazines. If you read my post last week about our roadtrip, I mentioned that I love shopping in vacation destinations and that I had a list in mind if I ever visited the Seattle area... and Red Ticking is at the top. I am honored and humbled that you read my blog and I can't tell you the smile it has brought to my face today. I love your style immensely but I am even more moved by your kindness. Thank you. :)

What a gorgeous place. So sorry for your loss. It's wonderful that you and your family were able to gather in such a magnificent setting an honor the memory of your uncle.

What a truly glorious spot Pam...being in the presence of such majestic beauty can be very healing, and being with your family I know was healing, for all of you.
Again, I'm so sorry...and may your visits with family from here on be ones of joy and peacefulness, and of course the ever present love that I know you continually all share.

It truly is a picture postcard image Pam! Uncle's are very special people we can't have enough of them, so to lose one is too, too sad.
