heart of gold

duke

sarah... this one's for you...
for those of you who do not know her...
she is the most amazing woman...
an incredible business woman
with a thriving lifestyle brand (must go dovecote)

but her true passion.. animals.
she has rescued more dogs than anyone i know.
these pups are the most fortunate...
some are there now and others have passed...
but all are fortunate to be so loved and in a peaceful home.

I agree. Anyone who cannot open their hearts and homes to displaced animals is missing something in the heart department. Thank goodness for those like your wonderful friend who make up a little bit of the difference. We have always welcomed the less fortunate into our home and they have been the most loving and precious members of our family. Thanks for sharing those beautiful pics of such extrordinary pets.

A fellow animal protector,

What a kind and loving woman Sarah is Pam. To rescue all of those dogs and to give them a good home is just wonderful....... and, what special animals they are.
Such beautiful photographs of man's best friend. XXXX

I had no idea that Dovecote was into rescuing dogs! I too am an animal lover. I have a special fondness for dogs that come through a rescue. At the moment we are without a furry family member, but next spring we are going to adopt through a shelter. Right now my children and I spend a lot of time walking dogs at ARF, a shelter in the Hamptons. Love the doggie images...cute! When are you heading to the Hamptons?

We took Hans in when he was 7 months old...had him til almost 14years old..Broke my heart when he died. Thank God there are people who rescure these precious animals..People who don't..honestly do not know what they have missed.

* I think SARAH deserves to have at LEAST a song written about her love of animals, and her beautifully open heart to receiving so many precious ones into her home!!! ... then again, I suspect she'd be MUCH HAPPIER if just another precious hound were saved... I know I would!!!

We SOOOOOO NEED more SARAHs in this world... especially nowadays, for sooo many reasons!

I raise my coffee cup to BOTH of you this beautiful Sunday a.m!!!

Big hugs for the pups, and please, keep some for yourselves!

Warmest,
Linda in AZ *

A heart of gold for four legged animals and chic four legged chairs for one to land upon.
Happy summer and hope we have the chance to meet.
