rough and tumbled....

there is something about these beauties that makes everyone stop in their tracks.
the color, shape, patina, and of course superb comfort make these chairs truly rare.

we have purchased and sold many over the years and as each one leaves, i feel
a bit of sadness... but i know they are going to wonderful homes...
so... here are some new ones... and they all need love..

if this is all i had... i would be content.

I love them too. I think a new one is cheaper than one with a patina these days. I think I'll get a new one. One week with my dogs and they'd look vintage. I could probably run a business of that ;)

These photos are stunning. Goodness, I'm really digging the masculine leather, wood, and forged iron look these days.

How great to see you last night!!

After lusting over some of these in a hotel in Chamonix, we found a pair of our own in Ilse Sur la Sourge. They are so gorgeous and I feel they are steeped in so much history and mystery!!

Have a great weekend! xo ebh
