where to dine in los angeles??? any suggestions? need them quickly...
special birthday dinner... fun atmosphere, and good food...

I always love the Ivy, on robertson and in S. Monica. I am frequently disappointed however - bc their shop on Robertson is rarely open...

I agree with the Ivy for sure! You will LOVE Indigo Seas next door if open...Or you can try the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel:)

There is a very romantic restaurant/Inn in the Topanga canyon, the terrace is just a dream...but I just can't remember the name

Just seeing this now Pam...for a taste of old school excellence and atmosphere I've always loved Lawry's Prime Rib in Beverly Hills, it's a classic.

Just returned from LA...
went to Dan Tana's in Hollywood.
Such a fun vibe..lots of cool Hollywood types.
Crowded and lively and interesting...food was
good too.

The restaurant Cobra's and Matadors has wonderful food and is lively and full of happy people.
