getting into it...

this is one of my favorite displays in the store right now....
elegant white ornaments in an old french wooden trough...
are you getting into it? or still wishing summer were here?

Oh, I am so ready for the Christmas season this year! I love the old brick building where my husband and I are living for the year, and I'm anxious to decorate it. I'm already dreaming about the tree, and today I planted batches of paper whites so they'll be ready for the season.

Love this photo of the glittery ornaments juxtaposed against the weathered wood--that's just the kind of decorating I like, too.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment at my blog. It made my day.

Best,
Gigi

I love that French trough! It looks to have great patina, gorgeous! But we are getting in to Summer here in Australia, and it can't come soon enough!

Oh, I'm definitely 'getting into it' Pam. I have bought quite a few of our presents and have ideas for the rest. I LOVE the white baubles in the trough....just my style of Christmas decorating.
Enjoy thr weekend. XXXX

Driving home from church today, along Lake Washington (past your neighborhood I might add)...the trees were so beautiful, the air so misty...that I was wanting fall to last for a bit longer. I was okay with summer being gone and not quite ready for winter...that will change when I come visit your shop...this week hopefully! :D

The ornaments in the trough look wonderful...and very festive!
