I lived in Honolulu for about 5 years and used to snorkel there frequently. It is a fabulous place to go. There are a couple of other local sorts of enjoyments. Leonard's hot malasadas are a pastry, like the holes in donuts, and one should try and get some at Leonard's Bakery. Call and make reservations for lunch at the tea room in the downtown art museum. You will enjoy the food which is prepared by volunteers, beautifully served in very enjoyable surroundings. The Likelike Drive-in used to serve the biggest and best shrimp in town. I left in 1975 so this may be all outdated information. Have fun. Ann
