another guilty pleasure...

ok, i must confess. on occasion, i have been known to grab a box of cherry or strawberry off the shelf... i used to eat these on saturday mornings growing up in front of the tv watching cartoons (totally dating myself)

my sweet friend mary who is an incredible pastry chef, has her very successful business always has a box of cinnamon on her shelf in case of "emergency".

ck this out pop tart store going into times square !!

we all have our comfort foods... what are yours?

I can't believe this...I keep a box of the chocolate fudge ones at all times "in case of emergency".

Nature's Path makes great organic versions...the chocolate ones are in my pantry as we speak! They're healthier you know! ;)
We all have so much in common, it's amazing! :D

Your comment was a hug this morning Pam...thank you. xoxo

my comfort food would be dense carrot cake, heavy on the cream cheese frosting!

Mmmm...Pop Tarts! I rarely give into them...but did take some raspberry along on my Midwestern road trip! I like cinnamon too, but only after being introduced to them by an old boyfriend. I can eat em' toasted or not. How about you?

Vegemite on toast - makes me come over all sentimental, especially with a glass of milk...

This is awful, I almost can't admit it given my wanna be foodie/ all organic tendencies, but I have a big weakness for Stouffers Mac & Cheese. I've made homemade versions, adult-versions with goat cheese and gruyere, but for some reason I crave Stouffers. I try to limit the indulgence to 1-2 x per year. and I don't dare read the ingredients! :) Now you know a deep dark secret!

when I was pregnant with my first child, I gained 65 pounds. yes, you read that right, SIXTY FIVE. I owe it all to blueberry pop tarts. yum.

Yes! I love Pop Tarts too! I heard on the radio today about a boutique Pop Tart place opening in NY. Apparently they have all kinds of Pop Tart desserts.

I must admit...they are my guilty pleasure also. It's the "F9" key on the vending machine at work!

I knew that I liked you. I eat very little processed food so my family thinks it's so funny that I love rasberry poptarts, toasted with butter (no frosting)
