i read a great post today from habitually chic and heather was discussing "cool" cocktail bars. what a surprise as i had just posted this zinc and steel table yesterday on 1stdibs.com thinking this would be a great kitchen island (add a marble slab on top) or a very cool cocktail bar. this table just came from france and has the most wonderful patina... check out heather's blog... it is such a great read.

The possibilities are endless...I would love to see it in a kitchen, with a tiered secondary piece on top for plates, cutlery, etc. to be stacked. I like the simplicity -- the imagination soars!
