bread anyone?

one of my favorite things to collect are breadboards... and they are sooooo rare that to find one is like finding a pearl in an oyster or gold in a mine... they are priceless.
these lovelies are on their way from europe and i just can't wait to receive them...
i promise not to keep them all and put a few in red ticking for sale...

I was just think about how I used to make homemade yeast bread. Wouldn't allow my mother to buy me a bread machine because I loved to knead it, let it rise, etc. La Brea makes a wonderful whole grain, though, so I've gotten lazy. Wooden bread boards are so great for entertaining...and you can move them as the crowd moves. Trish

I LOVE my bread board. I use it for so many things. I got it in AIx many years ago and it has a color that is so rich and wonderful.

I also have a love of bread boards. I collect them, I have them in all sizes ranging from very very small to a large one that fits over my 6 burner stove.
I mostly collect old ones. I have the same one you have pictured, the one in the very back of the pic

*Girlfriend, do you still have that MIRROR shown below??? If so, can/would you contact me? ...

And boy! Do I wish I still had my wonderful, olllllllddddd, handmade bread board purchased in Switzerland in the early 70's... you'd have LOVED it!!! (Annnnd, it was OLLLLD THEN!!!!). Unfortunately, the "MOVERS"~ THIS particular "group" anyway~ had "better taste" than most, & took some of "the really BEST stuff that I just couldn't REPLACE!!)...

Plz, LET me know, ok? I'd lovvvvve to purchase that mirror if at all possible

Warmest blessings,
