I'm obsessed with floors at the moment, having six rooms rooms (of nine) to redo at Garvinweasel. I lived with herringbone floors in Paris, on rue du Cherche Midi, and have been thinking about recreating that floor here in the library or my office. I wish I could help you with the source, and I thank you for the inspiration.
