bonfires on the beach

this year, the 4th of july was one of the most magical of all. the day was perfect spent with lovely friends at their amazing beach house ...eating, eating, eating...and laughing, playing games.. and the beach at night was like out of a movie set... as far as your eye could see... bonfires on the beach... it gave us the chills... true american bonding.. campfires and friends...it doesn't get any better than that.

it most certainly doesn't get any better than that. what a beautiful photo.

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments when you visit Brown Button - they totally make my day and given how busy things are for me at the moment (work, leaving current work, going to new job and my shop) - i don't get to spend as nearly as much time as I want visiting other lovely blogs to leave comments. thank you xxx

The image gives me warm fuzzies and for some reason, perhaps this is revealing my age reminded me of my childhood crush on Ralph Machio and the beach scene in The Karate Kid!
