I really do like some of Restoration Hardware chairs as well as Williams Sonoma, but I assume you've covered those already. We have antique dining room table/chair sets we'll be refinishing, but I'm tempted to store the chairs in the attic (can't bare to get rid of them yet!) and buy more comfortable chairs!Southern Aspirationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00042045652329926178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-799806244517732525.post-85287064882137048102010-01-27T13:31:00.701-08:002010-01-27T13:31:00.701-08:00my absolute favorite (blogged about them in G.P Sc...my absolute favorite (blogged about them in G.P Schafer's Hudson Valley country house & have them myself) are beat up Hitchcock chairs -- fabulous around a country table. Could be because I went to the Hitchcock factory sale every year as a child, but more likely it's just because I love the classic, weathered New England vibe.Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03911803115995014614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-799806244517732525.post-1107002679021853422010-01-27T13:18:47.673-08:002010-01-27T13:18:47.673-08:00How about a bench and then some chairs. Actually restoration hardware has some really great chairs (some upholstered) that are affordable and have great lines/finishes. Good luck! DanielDaniel M. They run about 250 each and can be slip covered for about 175 in their fabric choices. I had my upholstery guy make new linen slipcovers as well because the Ballard slips are somewhat flimsy. Guys love these chairs because they are big, deep and wide.

might work!

kelleyKelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12222598997403329166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-799806244517732525.post-39184948200042243312010-01-27T10:07:13.825-08:002010-01-27T10:07:13.825-08:00Nice slips, I am in agreement on the neutral schem...Nice slips, I am in agreement on the neutral scheme of things too.
